Ottumwa--~BRev. Lester A. Flactiff, ~b85, formerly of 2721 Branham
Ave., died 2:45 p.m. Oct. 31, 1998, at Ottumwa Manor of heart failure.
He was born March 30, 1913, in Bear Creek to~B Joseph and Rosa~b

Bloomfield. She died on Sept. 16, 1990.
A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, he was an employee of
Burlington Northern Railroad for 35 years, retiring in 1975. After
his retirement he pastored to nursing home residents in the Ottumwa
area for 11 years. He was a member of RSVP.
He is survived by four daughters, ~BPatricia Townsend~b and~B Donna~b

Neosho, Mo.; a stepson, Harry Jackson of Ottumwa; a stepdaughter,
Wanda Fisher of Brownwood, Texas, 11 grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; and several
stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a daugther, ~BAnna Norris~b;
two stepdaughters, Marcella Driggers and Naomi Sauceda; a stepson,
Nathan Jackson; a granddaughter; and a brother, ~BHarry Flactiff~b.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral
Home, the Rev. Loyal Hepker of the East End Pentecostal Church of God
officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. today with the family present
from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Cassill, Jim Luttrell, David, J.R.,
Marty and Tommy Todd.
A memorial has been established to East End Pentecostal Church of
God.
