124 West Fifth Street, died Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Veterans
hospital in Knoxville. He was born February 16, 1902, in Ottumwa.
He is survived by his parents and three brothers, Dan of Cedar Rapids,
Francis of Ottumwa and John B. of Ottumwa. He was a member of St.
Mary's Catholic church and of the American Legion. Mr. Peters served
in World war I. The body will be removed to the Traul funeral chapel
tonight.
