The residence of ex-marshal ~BDan Hannon~b was the scene of a happy
wedding last evening, the contracting parties being the ex-marshal's
charming daughter, ~BMiss Mary, and John M. Stark~b, of South Ottumwa.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Kreckel and was witnessed by
a number of friends.
The courier extends congratulations to the happy pair.

~BMrs. Mary Stark~b, 61 years old, wife of ~BJohn M. Stark~b, died at her
home, 508 Center avenue, at 5:25 p.m. Thursday. She was a daughter of
the late ~BDan Hannon~b for many years identified with the Ottumwa police
department.
Surviving are her husband, one son, ~BD. L. Stark~b of Ottumwa; three
daughters, ~BMiss Mayme Stark~b and ~BMiss Leone Stark~b, both of Chicago, and


and ~BMrs. F. C. Peters~b, ~BMrs. C. E. Mowery~b, and ~BMrs. A. P. Canny~b, all
Ottumwa, and a granddaughter, ~BJoanne Mae Stark~b of Ottumwa. Her
parents and one son preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday, February 5, and at 2:30 from St. Mary's Catholic church,
conducted by the Very Rev. J. M. Walsh, V. F. Burial will be made in
Calvary cemetery.
