Daniel enlisted in the US army on 11 Feb 1863,serving as a private in company E of the 14th Kentucky Calvary untill his honorable discharge 24 March 1864.
Daniel was a farmer after the war and was 5'8" tall with blue eyes and dark
hair. Died 6 March 1921 of pneumonia after 5 days of onset.
