ATTICA--~BKatholeen H. Rhode~b, 66, Route 4, Attica died at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, June 21, 1988, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
She had been in ill health one year.
She was born at Peru, Miami County, Ind. Apr. 2. 1922, the
daughter of Fred C. and Sylvia J. Crim Rehling. She was married in
1939, in Attica, to ~B~b~BRex Barwick~I~x, who preceded her in death in 1944.
In 1953, she was married to William Kochell. On June 6, 1981, at
Route 4, Attica, she was married to J. clay Rhode, who survives.
She had formerly lived at Peru and moved to Attica in 1926. She
had lived most of her life in Williamsport and Warren County.
She was a graduate of Attica High School and had been secretary
for Bi-County Mental Health Association for several years and formerly
worked for Dr. James Crain and Dr Lee J. Maris.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Attica, Warren
County American Legion Auxiliary and Attica Chapter 125 Order of
Eastern Star. She enjoyed flowers, outside nature and dancing.
Surviving besides her husband, are one son, George Kochell,
Houston, Texas; one daughter, Tamra Springman, Jupiter, Fla.; a
stepdaughter, Gail Warbritton, Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel
Mather, Attica; and Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Covey, Newtown; two brothers,
Richard Rehling, Memphis, Tenn., and Conrad Rehling, Tuscaloosa, Ala.;
six granddaughters and one grandson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Friday) in Maus Funeral
Home Chapel, Attica, with pastors Karl Korbel and Jacob Hoffman
officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.
Those who will serve as pallbearers are James Brier, Dick Eberie,
Vernon Stone, Oral Gayler, James McCabe and Flavious Warbritton.

Katholeen married Rex Barwick, son of Raymond A. Barwick and Hazel Mae Zenor, on 12 Aug 1939 in Attica. (Rex Barwick was born on 4 Apr 1919 in Judyville, Indiana and died on 9 Apr 1945.)
