Using the Census at the Louisville Free Public Library

You must have a Library Card to access.

First go to the Library Site:

Then click on

Then click on

Biographies & Genealogy
 

or click the link above.

Then select

HeritageQuest Online

You can click on either link above but  the HeritageQuest Online will get you where you want to go to access the Census Images and Index.  You must have your popup blocker turned off to access this page.

Log In

Then Select Search Census

Then start your search for the person you want

After filling in your search info, click the "Search" button

When you get the results select the county your person was from.

To view the image select the person you want to see

Your name you were looking for will be on either Subpage A or Subpage B

If you don't find it on Subpage A then Click on Subpage B

You can view it in either Positive or Negative by clicking the button you desire.  The Positive is the default.
